Sebugwawo & Co. Advocates Launches New Energy Law Division
Sebugwawo & Company Advocates has officially unveiled a new Energy Law Division to meet the increasing legal demands within Uganda’s rapidly evolving energy sector. This strategic move comes as Uganda continues to attract both local and international investments in oil, gas, electricity, and renewable energy.
The division will offer comprehensive legal support across the energy value chain, including licensing, regulatory compliance, power purchase agreements, land acquisition, and environmental due diligence. The team is composed of seasoned energy lawyers with a deep understanding of Uganda’s legal and policy frameworks.
Managing Partner Mr. Sebugwawo noted that this initiative is part of the firm’s long-term vision to support national development through sound legal structures in key economic sectors. “We’re excited to be part of Uganda’s energy journey,” he stated, “and are committed to helping our clients navigate it with confidence.”
